Chinese textile company Challenge to train 2,000 workers in Pakistan

In Lahore, Challenge (a China-based textile organization), with the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan has signed an arrangement to train 2,000 workers from the district and employ them in its production line.

The signing ceremony was held in Islamabad which was attended by company representatives along with the officials for the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan.

As per Pakistani media reports, Mr. Qamar Bobi also attended the ceremony who has played a vital role in bringing the Chinese investment to Pakistan.

At the ceremony, Karen Chen (Managing Director) Challenge, aforementioned that the organization will choose 2,000 workers from Gilgit-Baltistan, train them and employ them in their production units in Lahore.

The workers will be provided with food and accommodation as well.

Challenge is looking forward to employing overall of 3,000 people for their textile production unit.
